My favorite picture from today’s game drive is of one of the younger Elephant bulls sniffing the back of Anton’s game viewer. Priceless looks on the faces of some of the volunteers 🙂
Such close encounters only happen when the animal comes to the vehicle (and has a calm demeanor). Especially Elephants would not tolerate if one would try to drive that close to them. And if the animals (or your guests on the vehicle) are not relaxed the guide would also get out of there before they get ever that close.
Wow! Talk about close encounters! I hope those elephants liked what they smelled! 🙂

Thanks for the comment.
I notice everyone has their hands nicely tucked in..
Yep – in situations like this everyone gets very quiet and adheres to the rules 🙂
The adrenalin levels are fairly high in that truck at the time!
Fantastic shot! The expressions are priceless!
Wow I miss this! Awesome picture!
Déjà-vu and déjà-experienced just a few weeks ago…
God I miss it… I will be back ^^
Say hello to all the frightened researchers! 😉
