As we were watching a male and a female Lion at a Waterhole they both got up and started walking between two game drive vehicles. In front of the astonished Thanda guests they started mating. A common procedure in a not so common place. I was about 2 meters (10 feet) from the Lions when I took the picture – In the right place at the right time 🙂

Darn, darn, darn…wish I had been there. What a treat. I swear I will never understand why the animals don’t associate with humans in a vehicle??? But thank goodness, because you get to experience sightings like this! Thanks for sharing!!!!
No kidding about the location! Wonderful shots. I couldn’t help but notice the lack of protection for the people – is that ever an issue?
Everyday a big green machine follows us around and we hear click, click all day long. So he says “hey babe lets give them something to really talk about”!! What a great and lucky day for all!!
