Yesterday evening I took these pictures of a strange-looking bird. I am not certain, but I think it is a amelanistic form of a Dark-capped Bulbul. Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance for the input.
The bird in your photo is dark-capped bulbul commonly known as a toppie and has parcial loss of pigmentation and has pied colouration and is not an albino, other than that it is a normal toppie as in its species
I agree that it is an aberrantly coloured bulbul. Brilliant that it reached maturity despite its striking colour.
