Nashville, Cookeville and the Smoky Mountains

Collage USA 2014

It is almost over – Hard to believe, but my 2014 stay in Tennessee is coming to an end already. On Sunday I will be flying back to Switzerland/Germany.

I had a great time meeting up with a lot of old (and new) friends, giving four talks (with a total of over 350 participants), exhibiting at the Nashville First Saturday Art Crawl, exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for three days and spending time at my favorite place in Nashville: The Zoo.

The collage above shows me at two of the talks in Nashville and Cookeville. The collage below shows me having fun at the Nashville Zoo with the Zoo Elephants, a Clouded Leopard and a Boelen’s Python (Pictures by Heather Robertson and Rick Schwartz).

Thanks for welcoming me again in Tennessee – see you again soon!

  1. Great Program in Cookeville! Everyone loved it. Your are a great speaker, with such great stories and your images are to die for. Thank you so much for taking the time from your vacation to talk to us.
You have no doubt made some new fans and followers of your blog. Good seeing you again and hope that you will come back to Cookeville on your next visit to the States. A trip to Thanda is now on the very top of my bucket list…just need to find the time! Have fun in Germany and a safe trip home.

    1. Thanks Sue – I enjoyed my stay and the talks in the USA very much. I am safe in Germany now and I will be back at Thanda early next month. It would be great to see you and many of your photography club friends in the future at Thanda 🙂

  2. 😉 A trip to Thanda isn’t on my Bucket List anymore, it is a reality! Maybe in the winter months of South Africa of 2015! I just bought my third lens a Canon 100-40mm! Excited, very excited!
